over three years ago when i had my first conversation with another youth pastor after i had stepped into my first position i walked away wondering where we, the church, can regain and recapture our identity and mandate that was passed to us in the garden? i dreamed of the day that she would recenter and take her place in the culture at large, where the cultural rumblings would emerge from the epicenter of the heart of the church.
i think that that day is NOW!
as leaders and shepards of the next generations and by the way, of what i think will be the greatest generation to ever live, we have a responsibility to guide, to create, to dream, to nudge, to drive... to re-think, re-imagine, re-shape what will be...
join us on sept 11th (for info, directions, etc clink on above link) to begin discussions and seek to cultivate relationships that move from competition to collaboration... our hope and prayer is that we will not have to say that we are kingdom minded, but that from our actions we would know!
